There isn’t a way to do that, I mean that is why they are called a celebrity. However, if you are close with that person, then you need to talk to him, and he needs to tell the people who bug him, look this is their day, not mine, catch me another time!

As with all other aspects of the wedding, you can’t control what your guests do. I work for a banquet hall that does weddings, and I’m constantly hearing from couples “We don’t want our guests to sit down as soon as they get there and not get up and socialize”, or “We don’t want our guests hanging out on the patio smoking when we spend thousands of dollars on a live band”. If your guests are the type of people who want to plant their a$$ in a chair and stay for duration of the reception, there’s not much you can do about it. If your guests are smokers and they’d do that than dance to your very expensive band, you can’t stop them.

It’s the same thing. If you have friends who will go ga-ga over a celebrity, then they’re going to do it at your wedding. My only advice is to tell NO ONE you are inviting this friend, so you don’t have friends attending the wedding JUST because he is going to be there. Then inform your celebrity friend of the type of guests who may be attending, and suggest he bring a body guard as his “date”. Or allow him to bring 2 guests, so he can bring his wife/SO and a body guard.

Hopefully, people will know how to behave and just speak to him and will remember WHY they are there….it sa wedding not a photo op for them and the celebrity. You should know the friends who may me in awe….tell the ahead of time that he will be there TO CELEBRATE YOUR WEDDING and its ok to say hello but no autographs and no photos. Or don’t say anything and see if anyone recognizes him.

i would say that he would have to figure that out! I mean.. dont stress. Maybe he wont come for the whole thing and people are usually cool about not ATTACKING a famous person. well some people will do it! You coudl also just not tell people and then no one woudl know until he was there and then they would not be sure and then by time they figure it out… the night will be over!!

I have married couples where they had celebrities or who were celebrities themselves. No names. But only once was there a “problem”.

Wedding last year in a major park, public space. people walking by saw him and bang went their cameras. They stayed and watched but did not cause any scene

Do not worry as people respect weddings and will not interfete, just watch
